I always remember the first time I ever used it, right at the start. After years of everyone being so careful with what they put on the Internet, here was everyone openly sharing their date of birth and phone numbers. I was gobsmacked.
@backupbear I hope it goes well then. I was never on metoprolol. Both time I went into AFib, it was straight in for a cadioversion. I had a lead up for many years of ectopic heartbeats before the first event.
I do know someone that was in continual AFib and had the heart scarring surgery to try and do something about it.
@GeePawHill Yes, this, but also, when your post attracts mansplainers and gatekeepers, or get brigaded, which has happened to me on two distinct occasions, there isn't much you can do since there is no way to lock a thread to prevent further replies. You just have to wait for your admin/mods to step in and take action.
Or you can just go to Bluesky where you can control who can reply to you, which, if this is something you deal with often enough, who can blame you.
