@grahamperrin thanks for giving it a try! You don't need anything else on your system for Boxes to work. That's the whole point of the Flatpak. It can run simultaneously to other VM managers. What you're experiencing is likely a bug. I haven't had the time to try Freebsd yet. I will give it a go later this week and let you know. Sorry for the inconvenience.
@naor_nl There's a huge influx of smaller one-off apps. Just look at places such as /r/gnome on Reddit, and it's kinda getting overwhelmed with new projects. Most of which die off within months (https://geopjr.dev/blog/democratizing-abandonware).
If I'm generous I'm saying it enables newcomers to start playing around. Or people to spin off quick prototypes. Either way, there is absolutely an argument to be made that it has made coding much easier for newcomers.

This becomes unbearable for complex apps like Boxes. I've been its Fedora packager for half a decade, and even there I couldn't guarantee a consistent experience for my users.
@cassidoo I did this weeks interview question in Janet. While possible to mutate `a` I took the functional approach and return a new array, which is a little more idiomatic for a Lisp-like language.
Also, weighed myself. 85.9KG, my lowest ever weight as an adult. Intermittent fasting test has gone ok. I am fasting from 8pm to 10am everyday. No issues, yes, I am hungry at 10am.
Also reduced my sugar intake and I am feeling better, but not like "woah bro, I feel soooo good dude!" level of better. Just feel a little better. :)

Migrated a test local copy of my blog to a 128GB USB 3 stick, Pi 4 boots and the blog is running. Should be more performant than micro SD.
