@nikodunk @danirabbit @elementary I've been playing around with some GTK widgets for a more rich What's New dialog (like in @kolunmi's Bazaar) for my own apps.

it kind of softens the direct sponsorship request by putting it together with work finished and also list some stuff that's coming. so it can be shown more frequently.

haven't seen that done before. hopefully it will work. :)

@LilPecan Regardless of what it’s suggesting it’s only going to complete what you haven’t written, it won’t override what you’ve already typed in.

and/or you can bake their name/login into the OS image. set a default address in the mail app and some app icon variations.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day was fantastic. I agree with my daughters: 11/10. Very well done. It might be the most genuine feeling Spider-Man movie ever made.

@nedrichards It's working OK with Prism except when the Steam Deck Dock, which I bought at a premium over third-party options specifically to avoid this kind of problem, suddenly decided it couldn't possibly display an image on the TV until I had installed a firmware upgrade, but also the firmware upgrade process would immediately fail then re-prompt me while my sad child looked on. So we played Pokopia instead.

If you want to follow a particular account in RSS, just add .rss to the end of their profile's web address.

To follow a particular hashtag's RSS through your server, go to that tag's search results page on the website and add .rss to the end of it.
