@autiomaa If you haven't seen No Way Home (the previous before this), I highly recommend it! And especially watching it before this one if you plan to see this as it sets up the main storyline.

In general, I agree with you. As a lifelong comic fan, there's rarely really new and surprising stuff which is why I loved this one because it totally caught me by surprise.

I think the previous Spider-Man movie at least was fresh as heck.

The new Spider-Man movie, Brand New Day was so freaking good. I've been a Spider-Man fan ever since I learned how to read and the newest MCU movie continued on the strong showing.

I didn't know Marvel movies could still genuinely get me almost jump out of my chair for excitement but this one had a couple of those moments.

(No spoilers in replies without proper content warning please. Even though I've seen it, other people have not.)
