Il governo italiano, tramite un decreto legislativo, intende ampliare i poteri delle forze di polizia nell'uso del riconoscimento facciale basato sull'intelligenza artificiale, recependo il regolamento europeo AI Act.

I have a ring that tracks my stress (among other things).
The stress levels can be ‘peaceful’, ‘calm’, ‘focused’, or ‘tense’. I’m ‘calm’ most of the time, even while sleeping. Occasionally I’ll peak into ‘focused’ and very rarely into ‘tense’.
However, I have been noticing when I’m working on a slide deck (PowerPoint), I’m ‘peaceful’.
@gloriouscow I went on a rabbit hole recently thinking about floppies and steppers. We go to great lengths to do micro stepping and other optimizations on modern 3d printers. I do wonder what sorts of things we could achieve by using these techniques a 5 1/4” floppy?
Moved FreshRss, UptimeKuma, Navidrome, and Linkding from docker containers to #NixOS modules on my #homelab. Was astonishingly easy. NixOS may be my new pick for sever distro.
