Back 13-ish years ago, I wrote a browser-based puzzle game. JS was horribly slow back then but I heard that the RegEx engine was highly optimized in WebKit. So I implemented the entire games logic in RegEx. Very fun challenge to develop and it was quite fast.

@alice the main difference between GTK and Qt is that, with the latter, you can pay somebody to read your bug reports; and if you have a lot of money, you could even get somebody to fix them at some point in the future. Maybe.
