@pwithnall @chergert fairly sure we explained a few times that they can't just dump a bunch of code and expect it to land without explaining what they want to achieve first, but I think there's a certain level of language barrier and "get-there-itis" (plan continuation bias) that prevents a reasonable contribution—they use screenshots without any description for most of their contributions.

@danieldk you’re right, it’s both. I also think that people are more likely to report issues if the project is well established and that’s determined by glancing at the stars and number of issues/PRs too. the dozen stars on Codeberg doesn’t really cut it…

@chergert I absolutely loved the bit with the author sneaking in a change in default tab width.

The same author is also known for opening random merge requests in GTK before discussing any of them.
