@bosconet Last outage it took like 1 hour to get to a human (had to pass many automated gates before it puts you through). Then the answer was "we'll send out a tech".
Tech came and took an hour to decide to swap out modems. New modem, 10 min later, it worked.

I like this. OH: The Fediverse is social media. TikTok, X, Facebook etc is algorithmic media. This catches the difference quite well. We should take the term social media back. It is about us, not their algorithms.
It seems to reappear every time there is a news story about a government somewhere demanding ID verification, the scammers are counting on people thinking it is now a requirement.
