Much easier to get by than Ratatui. I even re-implemented my custom IANA-aware, geo-correct and real-time rendered world map widget - with smooth scrolling :-)

I think if I had my time again, I would have become a software developer. I just so much fun - coming up with ways to solve a problem in an elegant way is very satisfying.

Then people emailing saying they enjoy the tools I'm creating. Very rewarding!

Mind you, would it still be as fun if it was my job? I don't know. 🤔

I replaced all mkfs in puu-installer with external mkfs.* commands as I came to realize that most of the mkfs Rust crates are stale or development run by Claude Code harness.

I guess this could be almost sealed in stone: never mkfs other than external commands ever 🤷

@anon_opin An e-bike is neither fast enough nor massive enough to cause the kind of damage a motorcycle or car can do. It's just a bike that's easier to ride uphill.

@ripper Fürs EH14 in Stuttgart haben wir für Tschunk und sonstige Getränke unendlich POKAL-Gläser gekauft, weil wir sonst mit dem Abwaschen nicht hinterhergekommen wären.

Waren noch für Jahre vorhanden, inkl einem Laser-Jig für alle, die sie gravieren wollten. Nach dem ersten Jahr wurden sie unbedachten Besucher*innen fast schon mit Taschenspielertricks angedreht … das wird bei euch bestimmt alles anders, weil ihr ja einen Plan habt, wie ihr damit umgeht :)
