@DekOfTheYautja I am utterly baffled by this because the back function on Android does something seemingly arbitrary every time I use it, and there's 0 way to know in advance what that thing will be. Half the time that thing is "close the app" when I could've just swiped up to do that.
@DekOfTheYautja sorryyyy but this is what I mean about cope because iOS's "back gesture" works exactly how you would expect it to work in virtually every app, and you just don't realize it 😭
What do you mean the official Hacker Tracker app for #DEFCON34 on Android has FEWER features and WORSE navigation than the one on iOS? (Plus I have to swipe up twice just to close it?)
What do you mean the back arrow in the top left of the settings app *sometimes* goes back to the parent page in settings, and *sometimes* functions the same as the back button does so I get sent back to the previous app, so I have to reopen Settings and navigate through it again? If I wanted to do that I would've used the system back gesture! That was supposed to be the whole point of the separate function!

Like what do you meannnn I can't swipe in from the left side of the screen to open the navigation drawer in my email client because the back button gesture has moved there now, so to switch from my inbox to a folder I have to click a menu button at the very top left of the screen of my gigantic phone?
Every few months I get suckered into using Android again, and every few months I get to remember that the arguments about how Android has better UX than iOS are pure cope.
This is WILD. I used to live right near that big oval park in the Pearl District and was always looking at the Centennial Mills building. Now I love me a good ol' industrial warehouse because of the vintage vibes, but this one was clearly in need of demolition for a *long* time.
Fire sucks, but if outside people & property are OK and the end result is this blight is taken out of the neighborhood and we get river access, that's kind of a good thing IMHO.
Of course, WindowsLatest says that this cannot be true. These are all bots. Windows can't have lost so much market share. Impossible, says Windows Latest, because Windows!!1111!!!11! 🙄
