@zcutlip their offering was already more expensive than DeepSeek's official API, not benefiting from the initial 75% OFF campaign (pic 1). I did not mind, and I did not ask them to provide service for the same price.
DeekSeep is an open-weights model and can have 3rd-party hosting. Second pic is TensorX, EU-hosted, zero data retention. More expensive, but still cheap. Also, DeepSeek themselves will soon double prices in "peak hours".

On the whole, Dark Reader is an excellent way of making websites readable, when they do not offer a native "dark mode" (in 2026, for goodness' sake. Sort it out.).
Some sites just don't work well with it, which is annoying, and I should probably just stop visiting them.
Complete agree with this article, and I'd add that this trend is poisoning online forums. So if you're one of those people, you're making your work environment and the Internet a worse place.
